The Baltic Sea resort towns of Neustadt – Pelzerhaken – Rettin offer 10 kilometres

If you’re searching for an alternative type of relaxation there are a variety of beaches
(i.e. nudist, dog-friendly, windsurfing), that cater to your needs. Always facing south,
the white powder sandy beach is like no other along the Baltic coastline; never will you
have the need to turn your towel towards the sun as you lay the whole day looking at
the water. Test it out for yourself!
Pelzerhaken is a popular location for sailing, windsurfing and kiteboarding. Lay anchor in Neustadt’s recently expanded ancora Marina, Germany’s largest fjord-like private marina,
to enjoy all the comings and goings on sea or sand and experience why this place is a
watersports hub on Lübecker Bay. Neustadt is also home to Germany’s television network’s "dream ship" (ZDF-Traumschiffes) the MS Deutschland and the filming location for
ZDF’s TV series, "Küstenwache". On-lookers can watch all the water action from the city’s numerous cafés and restaurants and even get a back-stage view of ZDF Studio – Neustadt.
The newly finished promenade covers approximately 10 kilometres and connects the three
towns,
Neustadt, Pelzerhaken and Rettin seamlessly. It’s perfect for long walks, cycling tours
or in-line skating – even in the cooler seasons.

Strandhäuser am Leuchtturm has been awarded by the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Board, the KinderPLUS quality seal. As an example we have child-proofed all power outlets in every cottage. Our children’s treasure chest is filled with a wide variety of toys and books suitable for toddlers all the way to pre-teens for the non-beach days. These are naturally available free of charge at the reception desk. In case you forgot something for baby at home or you’ve run out of diapers, we also have baby equipment for every occasion at no extra cost also at reception – so you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep. |
