	Since its opening in 2005, Strandhäuser am Leuchtturm has proven time and time again that the comfort, the extreme attention to detail and decoration, and the friendly and family atmosphere deserves their 4-star rating from the German Board of Tourism. The exclusive 5-star Captain’s Cottages raised the bar a notch in 2007.

	Strandhäuser am Leuchtturm has been awarded by the Schleswig-Holstein Tourism Board, the KinderPLUS quality seal. As an example we have child-proofed all power outlets in every cottage. Our children’s treasure chest is filled with a wide variety of toys and books suitable for toddlers all the way to pre-teens for the non-beach days. These are naturally available free of charge at the reception desk. In case you forgot something for baby at home or you’ve run out of diapers, we also have baby equipment for every occasion at no extra cost also at reception – so you can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

	Wunnerland is a new nationwide marketing campaign for family holidays in Schleswig-Holstein. Strandhäuser am Leuchtturm is a proud sponser and partner of this project and its colourful 52-page magazine.
